The Measures We Have Taken For Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Dear Guests,

As Wyndham Grand İzmir Özdilek providing the best and safest service to our guests is our top priority. Wyndham Grand İzmir Özdilek has successfully passed the "Safe Tourism Certificate" inspection carried out by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism and became the first hotel to have a Safe Tourism Certificate among the five-star hotels in the center of İzmir. TS EN ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management System, TS ISO 10002:2014 - Customer Satisfaction Management System and TS EN ISO 22000 - Food Safety Management System are implemented in our hotel. Our indoor pool and children's pool have a Clean Pool Certificate based on the inspections conducted by the Provincial Public Health Directorate of Izmir Governorate.Within the scope of fighting against the Covid-19 virus, our processes are planned and implemented in accordance with the rules defined by the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, World Health Organization, T.R. Ministry of Health, and T.R. Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Food and hygiene technology audits, disinfection, and protection methods trainings in the fight against coronavirus (Covid-19) are carried out continuously by the Diversey Chemical company. All chemicals and disinfectants used in our hotel are approved by the T.R. Ministry of Health.  The measures we have taken for the health and safety of our guests during the pandemic period will be valid until the deadline to be announced by the authorities. The measures we have taken for Coronavirus (Covid-19);

  • All areas and surfaces that our guests contact with are frequently disinfected.
  • The use of masks and following the social distance rule (1.5 m) is mandatory to protect the health of yourself, other guests and employees.
  • The number of hand sanitizer stations in our hotel has been increased.
  • The reception team works 24 hours a day to ensure the necessary intervention in the event that the guests experience any Covid-19 symptoms.
  • The temperature of our guests is taken from wrists with contactless temperature meters, and their travel history is recorded while entering our hotel.
  • The rooms are made available to the next guest after 24 hours from the previous guest's stay. The rooms are disinfected with disinfectant chemicals after the required ventilation.  All textile materials are washed with disinfectant products by using hot water above 75°C. The room cleaned is sterilized with the spraying technique by using ULV device. A "Hygiene Card" indicating that the necessary cleaning is performed is placed on the room door.
  • The fan coil air conditioning system installations, devices, ventilation, and air handling unit filters have been renewed, and the necessary replacement, maintenance, cleaning, and disinfection are performed periodically. For the safe accommodation in our hotel, the ventilation system provides fresh air in rooms and other common areas for 24 hours, and fresh air is ensured in the most hygienic way.
  • Food and beverage service points; The tables (1.5 m) and chairs (60 cm) have been rearranged according to the social distance rule. All materials available to the guests are disinfected. There are disposable napkins and single-serve salt and pepper on the tables. Tables and chairs are disinfected after each use.
  • Qualitasspa İzmir Agamemnon Thermal & Wellness Center serves between 08:00 - 23:00 during the pandemic. For the health of the guests, there is a guest capacity limit in the SPA center (gym, outdoor pool, indoor pool, thermal pool, Turkish bath, and sauna) in accordance with social distance rules. The guests are provided with single-use soap and shampoo. Cleaning and disinfection processes in SPA areas are carried out periodically at 15-minute intervals by following the disinfection requirements.  Pool and water chemicals are used in all pools in accordance with the parameters determined by the T.R. Ministry of Health.
  • Product supply process: We request information from the companies regarding their Covid-19 measures. All stages of the procurement process are controlled, and all products coming to the hotel are accepted by following the disinfection requirements.

Measures we have taken to protect the health of our colleagues;

  • Our team has received detailed training from the hotel doctor on what the Covid-19 virus is, how it is transmitted, and what to do for the protection of personal health.
  • Our team starts their shifts after having their temperature taken, and they use personal protection equipment according to their duty.
  • Social distance rules are applied, and necessary disinfection is performed fully at employee shuttles.
  • There is a hygienic mat at the guest and employee entrances.
  • There is information on social distance rules and the right hand washing in the staff areas.
  • Disinfectants have been placed in relevant areas and offices.
